Who we are

In the community of Applewood Acres - what used to be family owned apple orchards, we offer a farmhouse philosophy on good food.


Our professional chef shares his experiences from around the world. From fishing for trout, perch, carp; to hunting wild boar, deer, hare and foraging for wild mushrooms.


We produce specialty food products. Our staple is smoked salmon. We cure salmon and trout Scottish-Style. We then cold smoke it using our special blend of apple wood, alder wood, and hickory. When they come out of the smoker we glaze the sides of fish with 100% Canadian Maple Syrup. Every spring we produce our own maple syrup from the maple trees on the property and use that syrup to glaze our smoked fish.


The result is just delicious. A slice of smoked salmon on fresh baguette with a glass of your favourite champagne is a great way to share a moment with those you love.
